Hammond & Company was founded in London in 1939 by Charles gun
drill , Hammond and is now situtated in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, close
to Junction 8 of the M1 motorway. The business activity gundrill ,
of the company was then, and is now, precision gauge and toolmaking. In more recent
years however, we expanded into the specialised speed
drill , field of Deep Hole Drilling and are now the UK’s leading manufacturer
with an internationally acknowledged expertise. A speedfeed ,
gauge making environment, state of the art purpose built machine tools and the
latest CNC technology combine to ensure consistent deep
hole drill , quality control. Equally important is our policy towards customer
